Abdul Ghani Baradar: Afghanistan interested in co-op with ECO countries

Afghanistan is interested in establishing regional cooperation within the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan Abdul Ghani Baradar said at the 17th ECO summit, Report informs.
He noted that this summit paves the way for the development of the region.
Baradar said that Afghanistan is ready to take all necessary measures to achieve a deep and long-term partnership with the ECO countries.
"Afghanistan is experiencing a period of independence and stability. It has achieved unprecedented progress and has new opportunities for development," he added.
