473 companies with Azerbaijani capital registered in Uzbekistan

A total of 473 companies with Azerbaijani capital have been registered in Uzbekistan, Report informs, citing the Uzbek National Statistics Committee.

As of July 1 this year, Uzbekistan had 20,502 enterprises with foreign investment in operation. Of these, 4,611 are joint ventures and 15,891 are fully foreign-owned companies.

Over the past five years, the total number of enterprises with foreign investment operating in Uzbekistan has increased by 1.4 times.

Azerbaijan ranks seventh among the top 10 countries by the number of enterprises with foreign capital registered in Uzbekistan.
