Actor starring in White Sun of the Desert taken to hospital with pneumonia

Soviet and Georgian actor Kakhi Kavsadze was hospitalized at the First University Hospital in Tbilisi, Report mentions, referring to Georgia's First TV Channel.

According to Levan Rattiani, director of the medical institution, the actor's condition is continuously being assessed as serious. He was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia.

The star was also treated for the coronavirus infection at the First University Hospital at the end of last year.

Kakhi Kavsadze has acted in several films. He is best known for his role as Abdullah in White Sun of the Desert.
