Zaur Mikayilov talks on agriculture prospects in Azerbaijan

The prospects for agricultural development in Azerbaijan's Central Aran Economic Region are very high, Zaur Mikayilov, chairman of the State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA), said at a regional meeting to discuss the State Program for the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Aquaculture for 2026-2030, Report informs.
According to him, the infrastructure projects being implemented and the measures envisaged by the State Program create opportunities for the further expansion of agricultural production in the region.
"ADSEA, within its authority, will fully support the implementation of the State Program and will continue all necessary measures to improve water supply for farmers and agricultural producers. I am confident that the goals identified at this meeting, as well as close cooperation between government agencies, local executive authorities, municipalities, farmers, and entrepreneurs, will enable us to fully realize the region's agricultural potential, strengthen food security, and improve social well-being in rural areas," Mikayilov said.
