The volume of over 5 billion manats (just over $2.94 billion) in investments planned under Azerbaijan's State Program for the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Production and Processing for 2026–2030 may be increased in the future, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Seymur Safarli stated in response to a question from Report's correspondent in Quba.
Safarli explained that the investment volume calculated within the program is an initial figure based on assessments carried out in the regions: "These numbers will be re-evaluated by the Working Groups established at the Ministry of Agriculture. It is possible that the investment volume will be increased. The State Program covers various areas of the agricultural sector, including livestock, poultry, fisheries, and others," he noted.
