Azerbaijan uses the advanced experience of many countries in the irrigation system, Rafig Aslanov, deputy chairman of the Amelioration and Water Management OJSC, told Report.
He also noted that the experience of countries such as Israel, Turkey, and the United States in the field of irrigation is widely applied: "Irrigation is not as developed in many countries as in Azerbaijan. For example, there is no need for an irrigation network like ours in European countries, where the amount of rainfall is higher than in our country."
