Over 80,000 women engaged in farming in Azerbaijan

More than 80,000 women farmers are registered in the electronic information system of agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilhama Gadimova.
Gadimova was speaking at the conference "The role of women's entrepreneurship in the economic development of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur" in Baku.
"Women farmers work in grain growing, cotton growing, and fruit growing. Their experience can play an important role in the economic development of the liberated territories," she said.
