Minister: Land leasing in Aghali will improve local living standards

Leasing agricultural land in the village of Aghali, located in Azerbaijan’s Zangilan district, will contribute to further improving the social well-being of the local population, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said on X.

According to Report, the minister recalled that the Great Return of former internally displaced persons to their native lands began from the village of Aghali, and the first cooperatives formed in the liberated territories were given the opportunity to lease land under preferential conditions.

"These lands are planned to be used for cultivating both annual and perennial crops. The leasing of lands will allow the population to freely engage in agriculture and help enhance their standard of living," the minister added.
