Azerbaijani parliament to hold public hearing on food quality

The Azerbaijani Parliament will hold a public hearing on the theme "Quality Food Is a Guarantee of Health," Tahir Rzayev, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Agrarian Policy, announced during a committee meeting, Report informs.

He said the public hearing will be organized jointly with the Food Safety Agency and has already been included in the committee's work plan.

"This is very important both for promoting the State Program on Ensuring Food Safety for 2027-2032 and for communicating the tasks ahead to the public," Rzayev said.

He added that the main focus of the hearings will be to promote issues and provisions related to food safety, as well as the tasks arising from them.
