Azerbaijan plans to establish several agroservice centers in its liberated territories to give farmers easier access to agricultural support.
Report's correspondent dispatched to Zangilan informs that Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov said this at a meeting held under the 2026–2030 State Program for the Development of Production and Processing of Agricultural, Fishery and Aquaculture Products in Azerbaijan.
According to the minister, six locations have been identified where relevant state agencies will operate in a single space.
"It is planned to provide agro services at the selected locations, including in Khankandi, Khojaly and Khojavand. Once these centers start operating, farmers and entrepreneurs will be able to access all necessary services in one place," he said.
Mammadov also stressed that the necessary support will be provided to entrepreneurs wishing to operate in seedling and seed production.
"Our employees will communicate directly with entrepreneurs in this area and provide relevant advice and assistance on implementing projects and resolving emerging problems," he said.
The minister noted that projects related to water supply are also being implemented.
"As far as I know, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency is implementing projects aimed at supplying water to orchards and crop areas. Once the construction of water infrastructure is completed, broader opportunities will emerge for establishing orchards and installing modern irrigation systems in those areas," he said.
