Azerbaijan sees nearly 70% surge in revenues from apple sales to Russia

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 54,387 tons of apples worth $38.3 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 54% in volume and a 62% in value, Report informs, referring to the country'
s State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold apples to:
- Russia: 49,905 tons (+64%) worth $34.6 million US dollars (+69%):
- Türkiye: 744.21 tons worth $1.11 million (no supply a year ago);
- The United Arab Emirates: 1,016 tons (-23%) worth $907,000 (+23%);
- Kazakhstan: 1,575 tons (+3.6%) worth 635,000 (+2.3%);
- Uzbekistan: 542 tons (-60%) worth 633,000 (-49%).
In 2024, 91.8% of the 54,387 tons of apples exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
