Azerbaijani minister talks on leasing opportunities for beekeepers

A Beekeeping Center is planned to be established in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district, where a laboratory for scientific research will be equipped, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said at a meeting dedicated to the State Program for the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Aquaculture for 2026-2030, Report informs.

"One of the priorities in the field of beekeeping under the state program is the strengthening of scientific research work. The formation of a Beekeeping Center in Kalbajar is planned, where a laboratory for scientific research will be established," Mammadov noted.

The minister added that beekeepers can take advantage of leasing mechanisms: "To purchase equipment in the field of beekeeping, one can use the leasing opportunities offered by the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency."

The minister also added that if the necessary equipment is not on the agency's list, the Ministry of Agriculture will consider the issue of including it in this catalog.
