Azerbaijan nearly triples garlic imports to Russia

During the first 11 months of last year, Azerbaijan exported 205.03 tons of garlic worth $ 287,110, Report informs, citing State Statistics Committee.
According to the Committee, this is 2.7 times more in value and quantity compared to the same period last year. In 2021 and the year before, the only buyer of garlic abroad was Russia.
In January-November 2021, 718.71 tons of garlic worth $ 934,000 were imported to the country, respectively, 61.37% and 61.36% less than the previous year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 562.56 tons worth $ 731,000 from Iran, 132.43 tons worth $ 172,150 from China, and 23.73 tons worth $ 31,460 thousand from Turkey.
