Azerbaijan increases wine import from Georgia by 31 percent

Tbilisi. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ In January-November 2018, Azerbaijan imported 146,256 bottles of wine from Georgia, up 31 percent from the previous year, Report’s Georgian bureau informs referring to the National Wine Agency of Georgia.
In the reporting period Georgia exported 78 million bottles of wine to 53 countries, which is 11 percent more than in the previous year. Revenues from wine export grew by 19% to $184.1 million.
Top five countries, which imported wine from Georgia, include Russia (48,587,707 bottles), Ukraine (9,525,172 bottles), China (6,275,909 bottles), Kazakhstan (3,396,452 bottles) and Poland (3,026,652 bottles).
