Azerbaijan increases its spending on grain, legume imports from Türkiye

Azerbaijan imported grains, pulses, oilseeds, and processed products from Türkiye totaling $127.372 million in January-August of this year, representing a 15.1% increase compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.
In August alone, Türkiye exported $16.196 million worth of these products to Azerbaijan, up 20.9% year-on-year.
Overall, in January-August, Türkiye reduced its total exports of grains, pulses, oilseeds, and processed products by 1.9% to $7.893 billion.
The largest importers of these Turkish products were Iraq ($983.543 million, down 15.8%), the United States ($596.871 million, up 35.2%), and Spain ($330.309 million, up 35.2%).
