Azerbaijan increases cotton exports by nearly 7% in July

Between January and July this year, Azerbaijan exported 76,286.16 tons of cotton fiber (lint) worth $109.74 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2024, the export value declined by 13.2%, while the volume decreased by 7.4%.
Cotton fiber accounted for 5.89% of Azerbaijan’s total non-oil exports of domestic origin.
In July alone, Azerbaijan exported 6,744.57 tons of cotton fiber worth $9.5 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.4% in value and 6.9% in volume.
