Azerbaijan imports over 80 tons of hazelnuts from Georgia

From August 1 to November 7, 2021, Georgia exported 12,400 tons of hazelnuts, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the ministry, the hazelnut export of Georgia is 3,500 tons, or 39% higher than a year ago. Revenue from the exports amounted to $56.4 million (+14%).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 82 tons of hazelnuts from Georgia.

The main importers of Georgian hazelnuts were Italy (5,504 tons), Germany (2,090 tons), Spain (402 tons), the Czech Republic (401 tons), and Poland (311 tons).
