Azerbaijan exempts wheat imports and sales from taxes for another 3 years

Azerbaijan exempted the import and sale of wheat, production and sale of wheat flour and bread from taxes for another three years - until 2024, Report informs, citing the amendments to the Tax Code, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
Import and sale of wheat, production and sale of wheat flour and bread were exempted in Azerbaijan from taxes until January 1, 2021.
Another change guaranteed the VAT exemption for the production and sale of bran for another three years.
According to the current Code, bran production and sale were exempted from VAT from March 1, 2019, for two years.
